Allen P. L. Martin is the CEO and Founder of Al Martin Training Services (AMTS) Inc.,  an International Management Consulting Firm established in 1995. Allen is a Social Scientist, by education, with a specialization in personality disorders and relationship building. Additionally, he is an author, a federally certified mediator, negotiator, and a radio talk show host. His talk show, The AMTS Knowledge Hour, was on the air Monday thru Friday, 6:00pm until 8:00 pm, on the Worldwide Core Radio Station. 

The company’s client roster, products and services capture Mr. Martin’s extensive experiences and skills as a corporate, personal development and human service trainer, a producer, a public awareness counselor and a motivational speaker. AMTS, Inc. has been retained for diverse personal, professional,  and corporate seminars/trainings such as team building, project management, assertiveness skills, conflict management, interpersonal and corporate communications, 5 Star Customer Service, power sales, negotiations skills, violence and substance abuse prevention, critical incidents stress debriefing, cultural sensitivity, mentoring, fatherhood/parenting boot camps, and conflict resolution. 

Al Martin’s many accomplishments include Co-Authoring a Domestic Violence Program for the 36th District Court of Detroit, Co-Authoring the Foundation of Michigan’s seat belt law, now referred to as “Click it or Ticket” (affectionately known as “The Martin Rule”), Co-Lead the efforts to pass Smoke Free Legislation in Detroit, in Wayne County, Michigan, and the State of Michigan.  Al is the Founder of Take Back Our City (T.B.O.C.), an award-winning Mentoring and Conflict Resolution Organization and Program for youth that received national accolades for reducing youth and gang violence in the cities of Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, and Houston.

Mr. Martin holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminology, Sociology, and Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Criminology. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, raised in Detroit, Michigan, and is a devoted father, father figure, and mentor to many others.

When asked how he would like to be remembered, he simply says, “As a Flunky for Christ!”
